In 1995, the Dei Micheli family, already vine-growers in the area for decades, made the forward-thinking choice to acquire a property located on exceptionally rich land, historically known as Tenuta La Presa: a large estate at the foot of Monte Baldo, with an ancient 15th-century residence at its center, today transformed into a welcoming wine relais surrounded by vineyards.
The over 100 hectares of vines that surround the estate, cultivated with care and dedication, produce traditional wines from the Verona area, yielding high-caliber products that reflect the Dei Micheli family’s passion for viticulture.
Tenuta La Presa cultivates its vineyards in the hills of Lake Garda, between Rivoli and Caprino Veronese, in the province of Verona — a territory that benefits from the lake’s mild climate and the winds descending from Alto Adige. In this land, the Dei Micheli family passionately grows the Rondinella, Corvina, Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Corvinone, Trebbiano, Garganega, and Pinot Grigio varieties, from which they produce wines of excellence — the fruit of their love for this wonderful land.
